UniFI is a secure Internet site. This means that the contents and information it contains and transmits to it are protected and access to it is controlled. This is why only authorized users can access it using a confidential username and password.
The data transmitted between the user and iA Financial Group (Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc.) within UniFI is encrypted before being sent across the Internet. Only iA Financial Group and the user's browser hold the shared key so that only they can decrypt each other's messages.
For your own security, we recommend you use the latest versions of Internet Explorer to access our online system.
Microsoft Download Centre
UniFI is an exclusive way to access information quickly. Its content is varied, personalized and easily accessible 24 hours a day using a computer linked to the Internet.
UniFI allows you to access up-to-date information, view your sales reports on-line, download forms, populate and rate contracts where authorized and even update your Personal Profile. It is also a fast and efficient tool with content that is constantly being enhanced.
Two options are available to obtain access to UniFI:
You may have received a letter from iA Financial Group providing you with a username and temporary password. When you access UniFI for the first time, you will need to choose a new password. You can then access UniFI at any time.
If you have never received such a letter, you have to register in order to get access to UniFI. To register, access the registration page by clicking on the registration link found on the login page.
Your password MUST:
- contain between 8 and 63 characters
- contain at least three of the four following types of characters: lower case letters, upper case letters, numbers and special characters (e.g. $, %, @, !)
- be different than your username
- be different than your last five passwords
Your password MUST NOT:
- contain more than three of the same characters (e.g. 1111, AAAA)
- contain more than three consecutive characters (e.g. 1234, ABCD)
- begin or end with a space
Your password will be checked against your profile information, a list of compromised passwords and a list of restricted words. For example, "P@ssw0rd" would be refused because it is included in a list of compromised passwords. A password including the word "Investment" would be refused because is it related to our line of business. Also, a password containing your first name or your email would be refused because it would be too easy to guess.
Pay special attention when using the following letters and numbers: “I-i” and “L-l”, “O-o” and “0”. These are easy to mix up when entering your username and password.
To exit UniFI in a secure manner, click on " Log Off ", located in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. This way you can be sure that the changes you made were indeed saved and you avoid problems with future access.
The secret questions and answers help identify you if you forget or lose your password. If this occurs, contact your UniFI Help Centre:

The technician will ask you the answer to your secret question to confirm your identity. This is why you need to give secret questions and answers that are easy for you to remember and that only you know.
First select questions from the list of proposed questions. Then enter the answers to your secret questions. Your answers must be made up of letters without any accents. Choose answers that only you know and which will not change over time. This way, it will be easier for you to remember them.
If you have access to UniFI, you are responsible for the use and security of your username and password. This way you ensure the security of personal information for both your clients and yourself. Here are a few tips on improving the security of this information:
- Never reveal your username, password, secret questions or answers.
- If you have written down your username, password, secret questions and/or answers, be sure to keep them in a safe place.
- When you choose your password, secret questions and answers, ensure that they are easy for you to memorize but not easy for others to guess.
If your computer is stolen, have your username and password deactivated by contacting your UniFI Help Centre:
